Agreement version: TQ-CONSULTING-2026-09-30-v1
1. A personal starting point
This agreement is between the adult client named below (Client) and TQ Companies (TQ), acting through John Wilson as a travel consultant. In exchange for the mutual promises in this agreement, TQ may share complimentary hunting, fishing, and travel advice, personal experience, and introductions to independently operated outfitters and travel providers. TQ charges Client no consulting fee under this agreement. Each adult traveler must sign separately; Client does not sign for children or other travelers.
2. What the consulting service includes
John draws on decades of travel and relationships. Advice reflects experience and information available at the time; destinations, personnel, facilities, prices, laws, and conditions can change. Recommendations are opinions, not promises of safety, availability, hunting or fishing success, animal quality, or a particular experience. Client should independently verify current details and ask the selected provider for written trip terms. TQ will disclose any compensation or referral relationship relevant to a recommendation before Client commits to that provider.
3. Independent providers and bookings
For services supplied by independent outfitters, guides, lodges, airlines, insurers, or other providers, those providers control their own operations and are responsible for the services they agree to supply. An introduction or help communicating does not make TQ the operator of those services. Client reviews and agrees directly to the provider’s prices, deposits, cancellations, refunds, licenses, and service terms. TQ does not guarantee a provider’s performance or financial condition. This agreement does not replace any separate contract or excuse TQ from accounting for funds it actually receives. Activities operated by TQ, including Trophy Quest Farms, require separate applicable terms and are outside this consulting-only release.
4. Making an informed decision
Client decides whether, where, and with whom to travel. Before committing, Client will review current official travel advisories, entry requirements, hunting and fishing regulations, and appropriate medical guidance, and verify permits and firearms transport rules. Client is responsible for personal fitness, safe conduct, truthful information, and following lawful instructions. TQ recommends that Client discuss suitable travel, medical, evacuation, and cancellation coverage with a licensed insurer, including exclusions and limits. TQ does not sell insurance or provide legal or medical advice under this agreement. Client may decline any recommendation or activity.
5. Understanding travel and outdoor risks
Travel, hunting, fishing, and remote outdoor activities can involve significant risks, including firearms and archery equipment; wild animals; boats, aircraft, and vehicles; difficult terrain and weather; illness and injury; limited communications or emergency care; evacuation delays; crime or civil unrest; and changed, delayed, or canceled services. These risks can cause serious injury, death, property loss, or financial loss. Client understands that personal experience and recommendations cannot eliminate these risks. This acknowledgment is limited to risks Client knows and appreciates and does not excuse a provider’s misconduct or eliminate rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
6. Important release of ordinary-negligence claims
PLEASE READ AND INITIAL. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Client releases TQ Companies, John Wilson, and TQ personnel acting within the consulting service from Client’s claims arising from ordinary negligence in the complimentary advice, information, recommendations, introductions, or consulting communications covered by this agreement, including related errors or omissions. This may limit Client’s ability to recover damages for injury, death, property damage, or financial loss caused by that ordinary negligence. This release DOES NOT cover gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, fraud, obligations concerning funds actually received, services operated by TQ, or any liability or right that applicable law does not permit to be waived. It does not release independent providers. Client has had an opportunity to ask questions and obtain independent advice and voluntarily agrees to this specifically limited release.
7. Scope, law, and changes
This agreement applies only to the consulting relationship and trip or inquiry identified below, including related follow-up advice. Georgia law governs to the extent permitted by applicable law; mandatory protections of another jurisdiction remain applicable. Any dispute may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction and venue. No compulsory arbitration, shortened claim deadline, or requirement to reimburse TQ’s legal costs is imposed here. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions remain effective. Changes require both parties’ agreement in writing. This is the complete agreement about this complimentary consulting service; separate booking or activity contracts remain separate.
8. Signing and receiving a copy
Client confirms being at least 18, having read the agreement, and voluntarily consenting to it. By choosing electronic signing, typing a full name, entering release initials, and submitting the affirmative consent below, Client intends to sign electronically and agrees to electronic records for this agreement. A printable alternative is available. A saved record includes the agreement version and text, signature, initials, account identifier, and date and time. TQ uses these details to review and retain the agreement and may contact Client about it. Both parties can retain a copy. This agreement becomes effective when Client and an authorized TQ representative have signed; submission alone is pending TQ’s countersignature.
