For hunters and traveling companions
More than time in the field.
Photographic touring
South African photographic itineraries are advertised for Kruger National Park and Pilanesberg. Discuss whether a park visit can fit before or after the hunt and how transport, guiding and accommodation will be arranged.
Time at the lodge
The Limpopo property welcomes families and non-hunting companions. Chalet verandas and safari-tent decks offer space to relax between activities. Discuss your guests’ plans and the amenities at your assigned lodge when booking.
Keep the memories
Safari filming is offered as an optional service. Choose between staff filming and raw footage, an edited film, or a professional crew, and confirm availability, deliverables and a current quotation.
Before you travel
Arrive with a plan.
Travel & firearms
Confirm your destination airport, pickup, arrival and departure days, passport and entry requirements. If traveling with firearms, begin permit and airline arrangements well ahead of departure. Confirm current requirements directly with the relevant authorities and your airline; route and transit rules can differ.
Pack for the bush
Bring layered neutral-color clothing, comfortable broken-in boots, socks, a hat, a warm outer layer, rain protection and lodge shoes. Add binoculars, a camera and chargers, a flashlight, suitable power adapters, personal toiletries and prescribed medication.
Your trophy arrangements
Discuss field preparation, your preferred taxidermist, mounting or dip-and-pack, export paperwork, import requirements, shipping and insurance. Taxidermy and transport are separate services with their own prices and timelines.
Booking & payments
Published terms list a 30% deposit for plains-game daily rates or packages and 50% for dangerous-game safaris. Obtain your current written contract before paying. Confirm the deposit, cancellation and refund provisions, balance deadlines, payment method, taxes and any card charges.
Important hunt conditions
The terms list arrival and departure as non-hunting days, trophy fees for animals taken or wounded, advance notice for some permits, and signed hunting and indemnity paperwork. Ask how those conditions apply to your selected package.
Health & personal needs
Review current travel advisories and medical guidance for your specific area and itinerary. Discuss mobility needs with John and the safari provider, and consider appropriate travel, medical, evacuation and cancellation insurance.
