Build your trip around the landscapes and experiences that draw you to Africa. The central Namibia safari pairs rolling Kalahari dunes with rocky hills, savannah and bushveld. A separate Zambezi itinerary takes you into river country, floodplains and a different world of wildlife.
Tell John whether your priority is a first plains-game safari, a particular animal, time with family, or an extended journey through Namibia. We’ll help shape the itinerary around you.

A dune-top setting brings the landscape into every part of the stay. The lodge’s main building and thatched chalets overlook the surrounding Kalahari, with open views in every direction.
Early light over the dunes, wildlife on the plains, and unhurried evenings around camp make this a distinctive base for a Namibia safari. Oryx and springbok inhabit the surrounding landscape.
The property lists 16 chalets, a private airfield and an approximate two-hour road transfer from Windhoek’s international airport.
Savannah, bushveld and hills create a setting for walks, wildlife watching and evenings above the landscape. Listen for birds in the morning and enjoy the changing light across the mountains.
Guest suites and shared lodge spaces give this part of your safari a character of its own. Combine both central lodge settings to experience the contrast between the dunes and mountain country.
This property lists six chalets and an approximate 40-minute road transfer from the international airport. Your confirmed itinerary determines the room and lodge allocation.

Discuss your preferred method with John. Bow hunts are offered from water-point blinds and through selected spot-and-stalk opportunities. Your species, experience and dates guide the plan.
Add a guided wingshooting outing to your safari. Sandgrouse, guineafowl, francolin and quail are listed among the opportunities; timing and availability need to be confirmed.
The central reserves have perimeter fencing. The hunting approach emphasizes mature animals, walking and stalking, and no guaranteed harvest. Share physical needs and hunting preferences before choosing an itinerary.
Use this list to start a conversation about your safari. It brings together the animals and birds listed across the destination’s hunting information. Wildlife presence does not mean every species is available to hunt.
All hunting depends on current permits, quotas, season, concession and availability. Confirm the exact species and any trophy import or export requirements in writing before booking.
Open grassland and freshwater wetlands replace the dunes. Namibia’s Zambezi region, formerly called the Caprivi Strip, supports buffalo, elephant, hippo, crocodile and leopard, alongside a range of plains game.
The advertised dangerous-game experience runs 10–14 days. This is a separate itinerary with its own camp, transport arrangements and species permissions. Ask John about dates, the intended concession, available quota, and the full transfer plan.
There is plenty here for a companion who doesn’t hunt—and for the days you want to spend together. Choose activities around the lodge, or allow extra time for a broader Namibia journey.
Explore by open safari vehicle with time to observe and photograph wildlife. The central reserves offer contrasting landscapes and photographic subjects including white rhino, kudu, giraffe and birdlife.
See the country at a different pace with horseback outings, guided walks and quad-bike excursions. Ask which activities fit your group’s ages, interests and experience.
Make room for downtime at the lodge. Swimming, fitness facilities and spa treatments can complement a busy safari; reserve treatments ahead of arrival.
Finish a day outdoors with a sundowner stop, then settle into a quiet evening beneath Namibia’s night sky.
The Kalahari property hosts a specialist gliding season from November 1 through January 31. Ask about current arrangements, pilot requirements and available flying experiences.
Extend your journey with a tailored photographic or sightseeing itinerary. Discuss the places you want to see, the pace of travel and the extra days needed.
Activities vary by property, weather and availability. Confirm what your selected rate includes; spa treatments, specialist experiences and touring may be additional.
Food is part of the experience, from lodge meals to special evenings in the bush. Culinary experiences focus on local ingredients, seasonal produce and the Namibian tradition of preparing game.
For a special occasion, ask about the optional nine-course bush dining experience with wine pairings. Its setting and service make it an evening to plan around; availability and pricing are arranged separately.
